DevOps Engineer / Full-Stack Developer

my story

Start

Nearly 8 years in the profession—this is quite a long journey, isn't it? From a guy who couldn't distinguish between hardware and software and has now joined the IT community.

Career choice journey

In the past, I didn't think I would choose IT because of my passion for playing games and having access to computers, the internet, etc. Due to this fate, I chose IT to study. During my time at school, I also learned more about hardware because I had been installing operating systems since my first year. And so I thought I would stick with hardware until I graduated and worked for a while. I just realized that this is not my passion, plus a number of other reasons (inbox me for more reasons !!!) that I returned to programming.

The journey to conquer passion

Since the beginning of 2017, I have started practicing my programming skills again. At that time, I didn't know anything about frameworks, so I went online to search for the top frameworks at that time. I saw the Laravel framework in Top 1, so I decided to focus on learning about it (self-study on YouTube). After about 1-2 weeks, I was able to do a small project, and then I applied for a job at an outsourcing company. During my years working here, I also learned quite a lot about backend, frontend, etc. (because the company is small and I need to do more things).

Journey after journey

According to the laws of the universe, I have been working here for quite a while and need to change the environment to develop myself more, so I decided to quit here. In 2021, I went to Ho Chi Minh City to look for a job and got a job at Oursourcing Company. Here I started working on big projects with professional colleagues, and I learned new things. After more than 1 year of working, I applied for a new position, which is the position of DevOps Engineer. Because I've been full-stack for a long time, I want to learn more skills about cloud, servers, and CICD, so I decided to jump in and accept new challenges.

Yes, that's a summary of my journey into the profession. If you have passion, try your best!.
